Frida Chen

I am Frida Chen, a visual artist who is originally from China and resides in Hamburg, Germany, and Montreal, Canada. I hold a MA degree in Contemporary Art Theory at Goldsmiths, University of London, and works as an artist ever since. Inspired by modern subtle misogyny and patriarchy, my paintings and drawings reverse the position where women are viewed as objects and toys in pornography. My works depict the fetish, sexuality, and vulnerability of males by using a childish and funny drawing tone.
